Ok. so now the fairing has gone and I am working on my frame and chrome, I have to somehow install a switch to get two spotlights to work along with my headlight.
Any thoughts on how to do this, my fan needs a switch too as it was operated from a switch mounted in the fairing.
To overcome this problem I fabricated a piece of aluminium plate of about 2mm in thickness, to fit over the rearmost handle bar clamp bolts. With a bit of care you can install up to 4 small switches.
An alternitive is to mount them inside the dummy tank, or in the dummy tank lid. Possiblly removing the Goldwing name plate and drilling into the lid there. When it comes to the time when you sell the bike, you can replace the goldwing name plate and the holes will be hidden.
BTW I always use a relay to switch additional electrical loads, using the switches to operate a relay. That way the extras can have there own feed from the battery, fused accordingly and the feed for the switches can be taken from the accessory fuse as there is only minimal current used to power the relays.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
If God had intended motor cycles to be standard, he would'nt have given us the hacksaw.

Sory I havent and I took it off and scapped it about 5 or 6 years ago.
Just mes with some cardboard until you have a shape that looks good, then make it out of alloy.
