$500....hmmm

for those of you that have M.B.S. (multiple bike syndrome) and have the "silver wing" models.
as our sponsors also have supplies for those bikes and they are popular with the "wing" crowd.

That looks like what I have been looking for but, alas, It would add too much to the price to get it to me. Why are the good deals always so far away?

so i sent an email with the usual questions.... here is the reply

Title is clear, it's not up to date. Here's the story on the bike. I have all the parts. I bought it off a friend of mine last year because he had it sitting and had got a new bike. It was running before it set for about a year and he had taken the head light off. In doing so he tore down the front end cause he didn't know what he was doing. It will need a new igition switch and the front forks fixed, some bars and a new battery and headlight. I had plans of turning it into a cafe racer but I just don't have the time or money and I have too many other projects I will need to get done before I get to this one. From the engine back through the shaft drive everything looks pretty good. I haven't tried to turn it over but I'm pretty sure it's not locked up. If you are interested I'll make sure before you waste your time coming to look at it.

Steve

500 is a bit much.... but I bet it could be made into a runner (and like I need another bike)

looked at it yesterday.... broken triple tree top, caps missing on forks, no oil in engine or coolant, middle rear engine mounts missing ( and that was the serious crapola) , and yes the title/tag was 6 years outofdate) told the guy he could get more than 150 parting it on fealbay

he wanted 150..... if it were a wing I would have grabbed it as I could get what I need

told him I would think about it
