Is there such a thing as resurfacing these?
Also I can't seem to find a source for new (on the net).
Clues?

i have had brake discs machined out before on other bikes to re-level the surfaces after a bad scoring..
although this practice would reduce the thicknesses+make more brittle i would assume.. but yes, a good machine shop would be able to do this task..
plenty of discs out there, give Frenchy a shout,or Big T...

If you cant get good secondhand ones, then try Trade Direct in teh UK. Their contact email is
Discs@bike-doc.co.uk
Prices in the UK are £60 for solid discs (as standard) or £105 for floating discs, per disc. Plus P&P etc.
I have fitted their discs to the GL1500 odels to good effect. Dont use genuine Honda pads though as it chews them up for some reason.
If thet dont stock them, then they will make to order, maybe a GL1000 owner in the UK will be able to give any information etc for you if required.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
If God had intended motor cycles to be standard, he would'nt have given us the hacksaw.

Clues?
If by 'resurfacing' you mean to restore
a scratched and uneven surface by
machining/ 'skimming' them down...then yes,
if you stay inside the service limit witch is 5mm thickness
(and 0.3mm runout (= "un-even"ess) for the 1975-77 GL1000 front disques

If you disques are beyond restoring you could get a pair of
second hand ones and have them skimmed, if needed.
It's cheap and any good car repair/brake shop can do it.
As Bandanna said; you'll easily find second hands, form above mentioned sources or e-bay.
As to new disques ; you'll find them in a lot of places
for example: Service Honda,
but at 294.22$ that's a very expensive route to take.
For other sources, check these links: GoldWing parts
Hope this helps

'75 rotors
Well top of the mornin' my friends!
You've given me perfect answers. Damn! I used to have a nice granite surface plate and drop dial indicators. But now I know exactly how to proceed.
Many thanks from Oregon.
case closed.

Front Rotos
In additional to OEM replacement front rotors, you might consider EBC Pro-Lite rotors. These are lighter than stock for less unsprung weight.
They are also ventilated.
Part numbers:
MD1074LS (left)
MD1074RS (right)
(Because of the vent pattern, these are "directional).
Any motorcycle dealer can order these for you. Highly recommended unless you have a show bike.
