EFI on the old goldwings

#1

Post by tyring59 »

I spent a couple hours reading over a thread at another site that covers 3 years worth of effort on there part to go from carbs to EFI on the old cb1100 instead. ( The ling is below. )
Anyway it seems to me after reading what they did , that using the megsqurit efi computer and the EFI off of a gl 1200 would work. Ditch the oem computer and useThe megsuirt EFI computer instead . The computer is is the magic key because of low cost and programing that can be done. How different is the manfold set up on the gl 1200 from the 1000?
Anyway what do you guys think?

Hens teeth. Being that the GL1200 only had EFI for one or two years, and that bike was a very pricy model the injection units would probably be pretty hard to find. Mega squirt is a good idea though, and if you could find the injection system it would be a cool system to see setup.
