UPDATE !!!!!!!!!
Got power to the computer system!!!!!!!!!! action1

Image

Still have a few wires to hook up................

Image

You might notice a red wire just kinda hanging in the picts, it is the 12 volt line to the MicroSquirt, I plan to not hook that up until I am ready to plug it in to my laptop. I think that will be tomorrow.

I have hooked up so far:
Oxygene sensor,, actually seeing a signal on the volt/ohm meter
Ignition input, for rpm, from the existing ignition system.

That's it folks, there ain't no more!!!!

Bump,
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Ok, OK!!! ;)

I have been working on a Tilt switch and working on my Ham Radio station some.
I purchased several tilt switches to check them out and see if they would work. More later.... :guitar

I have been working on Grounding my 40 foot tower for my Ham Station because I am going to install a sloper antenna for 80 and 160 metres. A sloper antenna uses the tower as part of the antenna and it needs a very good Ground to work right, so I drove 3 ground rods in the ground and attached them to each of the 3 legs of my tower. I will do some radial wires later.

Besides that it has been cold in the shop lately, my concrete floor gets really cold and stays that way. So, that has kept me from doing a lot out there.

Thanks for the interest and the bump, more later.......... John kb0ou............ :crosso

kb,

The project looks great!

Please let me know if you have any questions. I might be able to help, as I have a lot of experience with megasquirt and did a similar project on my camaro.

:)

The only issue that immediately comes to mind from my MS days is smoothing of the Vac signal. With smaller motors you may need to restrict the line to get a usable output from the MAP sensor.
