Hwy 33 Crash

I was following Matt when he went in Hot into a turn... well just watch as I was showered with parts and avoiding the bike as it came back into my lane... He is ok and home rest now...Bike is toast take a look

Scary...been there done that...have the scars to prove it. I hope you buddy Matt has a quick recovery with no permanent injuries.

Send a note to Matt that I hope he heals quickly. I see both of you guys were geared up for canyon riding. Good job. Crashes happen, but are certainly much better with good gear. Looks like he gave up just a hair while in that turn and went wide. Easy to do. Both times I have done that there were no rocks to bash into, just open field. Luck mostly.

Yea I noticed that once he started to drift out he looked at the wall also instead of where he wanted to go. Certainly something I have to fight when riding for fun like that. Visual fixation is a real struggle sometimes.

If that is not an effective ad for gear, well... Glad Matt is doing better, we can all learn from this.

No but it saved his skin and melon.... most riders wear jeans and cheep helmets. He had a tiny road rash on elbow.. rest of his skin was ok...

looks like he also may have got on the front break while in the turn. hard to say...i wasn't there. but that also will make the bike want to straighten up. glad hes ok. and happy to see he was dressed for the ride
