Rear drive gear oil question

I changed my rear tire on my 1983 gl1100 and figured I would change the rear drive oil at same time. I have a full unopened bottle of gear oil that I was going to use on my jeep and I never did. The weight of the oil is within specs of the gl1100 but I was wondering if it would be compatible? See pics

It says recommended for Hypoid and that is the key.
