Turn signal mounting

#1

Post by 77Wing »

What size/thread are the turn signal mounting holes in the headlight ears on a '77? Mine had a Windjammer, so no hardware. I'm adding some aftermarket signals. Thanks!

Not 100% sure but seem to me it's 10X1.25 tread.

I remember on the 77 I had I tried using the turns off the fairing and the threading on the headlight ears were way larger than the turn signal stems themselves. I think i ended up using what I used on my 83, clevis hangers.

You will probably need:

2 Front Bolts 90129-371-000 (#2 on fisch)
2 Front turn signals 33400-461-679 (#9 on fisch)
Refer to Honda parts fisch:

I do not think the turn signals from your windjammer are Honda signals and therefor will not fit the threaded mounting.
