[ebay] Single carb manifold

I came across this single carb manifold for GL1000 and GL1100.

Will this manifold fit a GL1200?
This is a single carb conversion manifold for a two barrel
dgv Weber carb. I do not have a carb for sale. (I'm using it.)
It has a two inch rise from the collector box designed (I'm told)
to increase torque. It is stainless steel under black gloss paint and
will fit any gl1000 or gl1100. I ship using regular mail at the least
expensive unless told otherwise. I ship for actual cost and do not
charge "handling" or "boxing" costs or any other hidden costs that
are designed to bilk you out of more money! Because of this it might
take me a couple of day's to get a quote from the post office but I'll
keep you inform

The GL 1000, and the 1100 are the same at about 90' or less at the elbow where the 1200s intake is more like 65 or 70 deg. not sure there . But I would get it if its at a good price if you're not a builder and rework the ends to fit .

Great information Zryder, but what you think about the design
of the plenum? Is this a good one?

What he is saying about the torque is true . But the angle of the ends he has on the intake side could be at the right angle for the 1200 , where the 1000s and the 1100s are more strait in . But thats where I'm saying you could modify it if needed .

Thanks Zryder, great information. I know a good welder (I'm only
a hobby welder  ) and I shall ask him how much it will
cost to make me a manifold.

Try as for the high centre for the GLs , it is really hard to say about better torque , as I found out , unless you knmow a goos engineer to figure that out . All the home made jobs I have seen and made , the carb sits flat on the plenum , unless you are fabricating a round plenum . You can get a better idea at one of our shall we say sister site that I've seen you in and that BigT and I below to also , there will be alot more info on this there .
