MARTEK CDI Electronic Ignition

Are their conversion kits for Wings any good? The guy I bought my bike from has a couple for sale for $30. Waste of money?
1982 1100 standard. (sold)
1986 Yamaha FJ1200
2000 Yamaha Roadstar

For 30 a copy if the kits are complete I certainly would.

I have never installed that make but I see a rotor, a pickup, and a processing box. That should be about all that is needed.

My GL1000 came to me with a Martek installed.
I would ask to see the Installation instructions if there are some with the kits, please.

I dug up the instructions after wandering around in the internet for quite a while. Maybe we can put them in shoptalk, because these were really hard to find.

would it be possible for you to post a pic or two of how the ignition is hooked up? The guy I bought them from didn't have the instructions and the instructions Toehead posted don't look to be for this model.
