New to the forum
High all. New to the forum but not new to bikes. Been on twos as long as I can remember. It's been a while since I've had a GW. I've owned two in the past. A 97 Aspencade and a naked GL1000 I built into a cafe. I scored a really good deal recently on a GL1100 1983. I will be making it a naked Wing for sure. Granted I do want to keep the saddle bags. I've already pulled the fairing off. And currently looking for a headlight bucket I like.

Re: New to the forum
I'm still working on disassembling the lil bits. I plan on going through the whole thing. Timing belts, valve adjustments, coolant, plugs, and carb rebuild just for starters.

Welcome from the UK, looks like you've made a good start.
Previous Rides,
1980 CB250N Good to learn on
1981 CX500 good mid range tourer, went to Austria on it!
1983 GL1100C Pride and joy, sold when I bought my 1st house, big mistake
1985 GL650 Silverwing another mistake, horrible bike
1986 CBX550 Good commuter
1989 Suzuki GS750 (1976) cheap and cheerful until a dog ran out in front of me on Xmas Eve, 1991
Current bikes
2010 CB1300 back on a bike after 19 years, two divorces, children grown up etc
1980 GL1100 NOW ON THE ROAD, still use CB1300.
