It's a 79. I need to get it out of the shop and repaint it myself. The mechanic says that more than anything it needs some street time (it has been sitting for almost a year) to blow out the junk in the system. He told me to ride it for a bit and then see what else it needs mechanically.

I'm going to paint it when I get it home- I don't have a title right now, so it won't be legal for probably a month or so, until I get all that mess done. In the meantime I'm going to hook up some cosmetic stuff and a few little things - put a windshield on it, maybe a new seat, etc.

I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow, which is killing me.

Ok, I saw you had turn signals on the front from a 78, and
your rear was from a 79...

I'd love to get it, but I am waiting on him to get the seals for the rebuild of the brake caliper. I was going to get it on Friday, but he took it for a test spin and discovered that the rear master cylinder was full of water, and the caliper was in terrible shape as a result. I was planning to do the rebuild anyway, so he's just saving me some work by taking care of it.

Unfortunately I don't have any other way to get it home than to ride it, and I would prefer to dso so with good brakes. I rode home my 74 yamaha before I did the brake job, and that was one scary ride.
