Another Buffet bike

#1

Post by Deacon blues »

After a few years have this 1800 mile surviver back and running. Replaced seals, water pump, fuel pump, electronic ignition, period correct NOS rims, drag bars, solo seat, lost the fenders, fork brace, cartridge emulators , cleaned up the huge turn signals, larger master cylinder, vented rotors, rebuilt all brakes, rebuilt carbs, ditched the stock mufflers. Ready to ride.

Beautiful! But, if you plan to ride it, figure out a way to add fenders.

Was just thinking the same thing. First rainy ride will convince you!

I have other cafe bikes without fenders. I try not to ride in rain . I know it’s not practical, but this wasn’t planned to be my practical bike.

I used to run without a front fender, figured I'm wet either way in the rain. Then I bought a place with a 1/10 mile long gravel driveway. If it becomes an issue, a CB900C front fender fits well and looks pretty good. Great looking ride, great job!
