hardly a 'customizing' more a practicality, but has anyone used scrambler type handguards? haven't noticed any images anywhere, but curious to see if its been tried and to what degree of success. i imagine fitting brackets may prove a bit of a nightmare...

Can't remember where, but I've seen them used to knock cold wind off knuckles. 1800s have a "wing" available that goes under the mirrors and works wonders for that.

Cheers lads ! How were the brackets to fit? Like the thread suggests there's always some mods to be done for a 'universal' fit, and i have the Randakk master cylinder set up to negociate. Now to peruse the interwire and see whats out there...
As always, any 'don't do it this way' suggestions are appreciated
