Every Dyna S rotor made for a vintage Honda I have seen has been larger in diameter than the stock rotor. Maybe in recent years this has changed. Are yours aluminum?
maybe their QC has gotten better, I don't know, But.....

So you have one of those! Cool! Kind of acts like the reticule on a scope, doesn't it.
put one of those sight glasses on mine in errr about 1978... put on a prestolite maybe a year later, and yes you have to set them correctly, but after that life is nice
as a long sufferer on the timing scene i am overjoyed with the new book. now I don.t have too read all these posts on minutia on sub-miniate of highly technical jargon. my goal is only one - ride a well tuned bike! why tie the flies- just catch the fish//thxs mike

Can anyone tell me if the early wing (1975-1977) stock ignition rotor that fits over the spark advancer is the the same as the ignition rotor for the 1978-1979 wings? Also If any one is willing to sell a 1975-1977 stock ignition rotor thats in good condition, please let me know, or if anyone knows where to find the rotor only, please contact me. Thanks, LARRY

The advancer is different. The round sleeve the lugs of the advancer engages on is part of that but I do not know if that is physically different than the later models.
