Plastic choke connector on carb broke-ideas?

I've been dealing with a broken plastic carburetor linkage on my 1983 GL 1100 for a while and finally pulled out the carbs to fix it. It is the little plastic piece on the carburetor that the choke cable pulls on and links to the metal choke linkage. I glued it, reinstalled, and it broke while I tested it out. Has anyone figured out a good fix for this? I am not able to source a new one.
