156 is I think out of reach. Might could get close if everything was just right. I have not heard anything from Winston or the guys that have his bike regarding the future of it.

I saw an indicated 125 on my new 76 when I wanted to find out just what it would do. It felt like it might have got a little more but I ran out of road. I never pushed it again. More impressive was that it would hold 115 for as long as I wanted (or had enough road or strength!).

When you posted about your Bonneville experience, I had the thought that possibly swapping in '83 1100 transmission gears (overdrive) just might get you over that hump, but not to 156...
