Almost 13 years with us. The last couple of days were very hard for her. She passed this morning while the vet was attending.

Was hoping for some wind therapy this afternoon but the weather decided differently. A small storm blew through and now its 94 degrees and humid. I'll have to settle for some comfort foods and a nap.

Big hole for sure. Our Aussy has been with us 18,5 years so far, but no pain yet. So not too long for us either.

Sorry to hear this. Al. You were blessed with more years companionship than most, which probably makes it harder.

a hug, which even if it can't console or fill the void, it's the only way we can be close to you.
We have had dogs, cats, monkeys, tigers, lions, leopards, etc etc and we know the pain that remains within us when one of them leaves us. The important thing is that he didn't suffer.
