Windscreens??

#1

Post by ericheath »

The windscreen on my 97Valk looks like it had clear coat on it, both sides. Was that a practice? Any advice on cleaning it up. I cut it down so I look over the top anyways, but would like to improve its appearance.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Polycarbonate (Lexan) has to be coated, or it scratches too easy. Acrillic (plexiglass) does not need coating.

the novu polish works great but I'd wet sand it with 600 grit then 1000 grit then hit it with the polish.
this is the before and after on my sons girl friends car I did using that method.
