Been going to this for years. Lots of bikes and people to talk with. Ride is on Saturday 6/8, Show on Sunday. There’s also a swap meet area.

It is a great show and I would love to join, but already have a hard conflict for the 9th. Sad for me.

Have fun …

I really enjoyed that Museum when I went with some of you guys (what year was that, I don't remember) but to be honest I was more taken with the cars than the bikes. Incredible displays of cars that I had only heard about or seen pictures of.

I’m guessing when you you went they didn’t have the motorcycle museum. Kind of small and out of the way but does have some cool bikes. Charlie and Ted Tackett are putting together a section that’ll depict a vintage/antique bike repair shop. Work in progress, but it’s coming along well. Kudos to them for taking this on.

No. My visit was around 10 years ago, just the amazing different car buildings.

Has it been that long already? Seems like it was just a couple years. ;)

I remember that trip. Don't worry, I'm STILL working on that KZ1300.

I've been in the show every year for the past couple years. I usually ride down with my brother, so I can get at least two bikes in. Usually a rotation of my CB750, GL1000 and/or Valkyrie. It's a fun little tradition.

I need to look into the ride on Saturday. That might be kinda fun to do too.
1997 Valkyrie- Light Cutomization, but Too Busy Riding
1980 KZ1300- Bike's Haunted
1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

I remember now. It was 2013, so 11 years ago. Travelled there with Cyborg.

I can remember when it was $8.
FWIW, register for the show. Save $5, park in the show field and two people can enter.
The ride on Saturday is free. We’ve had over150 bikes. Kinda cool seeing the various bikes and talking with the owner/riders.

Ya, I rember those days as well. I guess $20 is the new $8, (like everything else). Ofcourse, they are offering a lot more these days.

I'm sure that the museum has probably expanded since I was there, but even at the size it was then the cost of maintaining the property, the exhibits and the personnel must have been huge. $20 for it now does not seem excessive to me.
