I purchased this bike in 1980 from the original owner who was a motorcycle mechanic. He raced it at Sears Point, and blew the engine. I got another motor, and we put the bike back together in his shop in the evenings. I rode it for many years, but I am not riding it anymore and it needs to go. It has not been on the road for a few years now, but the engine turns over and runs. I parked it then because the ignition switch had failed but all else was in good shape. I eventually replaced the switch, but I believe it needs another carb rebuild now. It has a fresh battery and good tires and can be put back on the road or used for parts. It comes with many spare parts including a NOS left switch (35200-371-670.) Full list and more photos are available. It is not naked, but the fairing was restored by Craig Vetter himself. The bags are Bates. Randakk front cylinder and oil filter kit and other upgrades. Most everything has been fixed or replaced, all by me. Odometer reads 64k but add about 25k for actual miles because I changed the speedometer and restored the face. It has been garaged under a cover, Asking $500 OBO. Located in Salinas, California. More pictures available on request.
1981 Honda CM400T also available.
