Exhaust Gasket Crossover

#1

Post by mrflamewerks »

Out of frustration with the local Honda Motorcycle dealer never having exhaust gaskets in stock and having to wait at least a week for them, I took a GL1000 header to NAPA and they found a Fel-Pro Gasket, in stock, that works just as well. The application is Honda 1.3, 1.5 and 1.6 litre 4 cylinder and 1976-84 Nissan 1.8 litre engines.

Fel-Pro part number 60567 or 12-1002.

Cool,

Everything I buy takes two weeks so this is great. For some reason I can get the average part quicker through Frenchy than my Honda dealer.
Enjoy life,

actually my local NAPA was open today... none in stock but Seattle warehouse has two... in store $3.46 plus shipping.

online from NAPA $2.49 plus shipping, but site won't tell me how much shipping unless I login.

found them here for $1.94 each. I ordered 12 to dilute shipping cost and final shipped cost was $2.54 each. If you just needed (wanted)4, shipped cost jumps to $3.44 each. They accept major CC's and paypal.

Excellent, and a bit better than NAPA. I've been paying $3.67 each (no shipping charge tho') for the Fel-Pro alternative here. For a buck ninety-four I guess I'll order a couple of sets and keep them with the rest of my spares stash.
