gl500 silverwing mods??

for those of you that have M.B.S. (multiple bike syndrome) and have the "silver wing" models.
as our sponsors also have supplies for those bikes and they are popular with the "wing" crowd.

gl500 silverwing mods??

hey anybody out there seen any cool gl500 mods?

i have an 81 gl500 naked, and would like to mod it with a bit of a
cafe/streetfighter look. i would like to keep costs low and mods fairly simple at first, as this is a daily driver bike and not a frame off project right now.

any ideas or pics for inspiration??

i will try to get some pics of my gl500 uploaded asap, as it is now.

I figured out a couple things...
I'm a better sinner than I thought possible...

It's the MSN photo gallery of the Honda Transverse Twins of America. There are lots of ratty, restored and modified CXs & SilverWings there and everything in between. And a fair bit of stuff that doesn't have transverse twin engines too - we HTTA guys are a pretty diverse group.

BTW: The bike in my avatar is a modified SilverWing, but it's hard to tell from that pic.

Oh yeah - the bike in the "Gord's CX650E" album is Rat's 650 and the outfit in the "The ST Sidecar Rig" album was on my driveway a couple of weeks ago while travelling across Canada on the way home from Alaska.
