The '79 GL has shead about 80 ibs. since I acquired it about 6 months ago. A project I have thought about for 25 years! The exhaust is Jardine from JC Witney and the tail/turn signals are late model GSXR. The fly screen is a generic after market unit picked up on ebay; I don't know the brand.

The exhaust is a complete system by Jardine however I can't find a current listing on the net. I'm not much help with the front fender; I think it is a CB 450 part, but really I just found one on ebay that I thought looked good.

I see it lists Jardine for the 78-79 GL 1000 only...I wonder why?
Is there a difference in the exhaust for 1976/77?

Hmmm. Could you use the same header pipes?
I'm thinking of just going with a generic set of aftermarket slip-on turnouts...about 40 bucks each, 20" long.

Yes for sure they will fit on your bike, they used the same headers for GL1000 and GL1100.
