Well here he is

for those of you that have M.B.S. (multiple bike syndrome) and have the "silver wing" models.
as our sponsors also have supplies for those bikes and they are popular with the "wing" crowd.

The engine is what draws me too it, like the engine on the first gen Goldwing. The funny thing is that the cx like left the planet for awhile, then shown back up as a cult bike . Like the wing , more & more are being put back on the road & customized or restored (just like here on the GL`s) I`m not a big fan of the looks of the CX650c`s , but with a little imagination, & input from other people , it can be turned into something great. The first time i saw the CX , it looked to me like someone at the HD factory put the sportster engine in wrong, untill i took it for a ride (fast litte bugger). I bet if they did go to 1000cc`s it would be one hell of a stump puller. (can`t figure out why honda stopped at 650)

You found a hammer inside that valve cover!

Seriously, that is one clean looking head! Nice bike!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked, in the head, by an iron boot? Of course you don't--no one does--that never happens. - Capt. Rex Kramer

On the CX forum , the ones who live here in the USA say customize it & the others that these bikes are rare in other country`s say to restore it. The big problem is , it is missing way too much & hard to find expensive pieces. But i`m torn between cutting it up to do some custom work & there will be no return to stock after i`m done. Trying to fit custom pieces around the stock frame is also a challenge.

Man...can you just imagine this bike with a blacked out motor? Who is the lucky owner? Would love to see some more details on this ride.

I really like the look of this one too. My long legs may not like riding it much though. The seat looks a little to close to the pegs for a 36" inseam.

Not sure as i snagged it off the CX forum http://choppercharles.com/cs/forums/41105/ShowPost.aspx

Just scroll thru the pages for some really neat ideas. I tell you if i had a wing to look like that i`d be in heaven . (i`m sure i can be done) The big problem is the CX650C has a different frame back 1/2 & would take alot to do it that way (i know have tourch & welder anything is possable. :P

Is that thing getting oil to the top end, looks a little dry?
Life is short, enjoy the ride.

That what it looked like before i got it started after several years of sitting , so yes it looked a little dry (it don`t now) Bike runs like it never was put away & i just tradded some fairing odds & ends for the headlight & front directionals .
