OK I can finally comitt to this run. I would like to accept Frenchy & SUSAN's gacious offer of a spot "O" grass to set up a small tent and I will make reservations at the HOJO's in the Falls for the 19th.
Just so folks know what I am doing:
18th depart Norfolk arrive Lancaster or Dale NY spend night with Family.
19th transition to the Falls.
From that point on I will be with the group until we split to go East or West as the situation dictates. When that happens I will be returning to the Western NY area via the south side of Lake Erie if anyone would like to ride along? I will be in Western NY for the remainder of that week and the following Weekend. I have Nephew Graduating College, getting Married , and getting Commissioned in the Air Force that weekend.
My only problem is how to carry a suit on a wing

OK my reservations are made.

I did have a thought for all of you that have not traveled to our brotherland up north lately and that is about Cell Phones. Last time I was up that way the surcharge for a US Cell Phone talking to a Canadian Tower was stupid Dollars. Like a buck a minute if I recall correctly for Verizion. Might check with your respective phone companies before you promise the Better half a phone call every night. Just a thought.

Yes they are cheaper than "my" cell and it is in fact what I use when traveling up that way now. I have spent a bunch of time in Halifax associated with my previous job and the first time I was there I had no idea about the surcharge, dang I got one heck of a surprise when I got my bill. I Just wanted to make sure folks are aware of it or check before they get the rude suprise I did. Who knows it may have changed since then as it has been a couple of years??
