This is where discussions of EFI systems, Dual Carbs, Single Carb mods and plans can be discussed and shared.
If you are working on or have a problem with stock carbs then your questions do not belong here, please post them in the Goldwing Tech Discussions Forum.

My emulsion tubes are F11 as that is what came with my carbs. Some emulsion tubes are quite different, and others aren't much different at all. You would need to look at them to tell but If they are close to the F11's I'd just run the F7's. (There is no rhyme or reason to emulsion tube numbering. The different models were just numbered as they were invented.)
The chokes are 28mm. I bought a set of 26mm Dell'Orto chokes thinking that with the small cylinder size they might help but they cut the air flow too much and the bike did not run well.
EDIT: Here is a link to a Porsche site that discusses F7 v F11 tubes http://forum.porsche356registry.org/vie ... =1&t=27414
Randakk suggested a cross brace and it's a good idea as it provided a mount for my electric fuel pump (Facet cube 3-5psi) and the throttle cable mount. If you print the PDF file at 2x size 4 times you can cut the base gaskets out of gasket material with an exacto knife.
Even with new Webers, the first thing to do is tear them completely down and give them a bath. There were left over metal shavings in mine from the machining operations.

If they do it won't be by much. They would probably have more of an effect on the air corrector size. The air gets pulled through the air corrector and then bubbles up in the emulsion tube to oxygenate the fuel before it gets to the engine. That was the Weber secret - pre-oxygenating the fuel charge. I have an extra set of F11's laying around doing nothing.

Send me a PM and we can discuss it. Shipping will probably be more than the tubes.

I was going through some old messages and found one from lehed regarding Webers on an 1100. He says he was running 52 idle, 112 mains, and 175 air correctors. He might be someone else to ask. An email might be better than a PM as he doesn't seem to come around a lot.
