Sounds pretty workable for what is being accomplished with the Arduino. And tweaking things like this are right up my alley. C5 Ignition is meant for the left cylinder head, but my FI engine has it on the right, so a little machining to the OEM housing to use for backplate...

That is one good use for the old Gr/Gl cam (PG) sensor placement from the CFI system. Ready made and don't have to do too much work to use. Nice job.

Can get them on Ebay fairly inexpensive, and the harness usually comes with it,
but I prefer to make my own instead of cutting and splicing.
