My BlaCXter 400

for those of you that have M.B.S. (multiple bike syndrome) and have the "silver wing" models.
as our sponsors also have supplies for those bikes and they are popular with the "wing" crowd.

Once upon a time was a low mileage '82 CX400C...
Image

it met with a GSX-R 750 front fork & brake, Dominator front hub and 17' spoke wheels (not easy for the rear one)
Image

Full black paint including engine, 2in1 MacPerformance + Yam MT-01 exhaust
Image

Handlebar and headlight from an Harley Sporster, custom blinkers and meter

Oldstyle Honda logos

Current status

Still planning a couple enhancements : mirrors, seat, and probably a small aluminium front fender...
Hope you will like it as much as I do

Was the 400 a Euro only size? I don't remember any CX400 over here. Only the 500 and 650. It is looking good. Although I thought you were heading toward a more cafe style.

Thanks guys !
Only the 500 classic was sold in France at the beginning (1978).
Honda introduced the 500C in 1980 and the 400 (for legal reasons) only in 1981 for both versions (classic and custom).
I also do not think the 400 was a standard version in the US. Most probably the few that are running were imported from Japan.
On the other hand, in France we never had the Deluxe versions, and the 650 custom neither, but only the 650E and GL, both with mono-shock (not very nice for a cafe or bobber style customization ).

This is my '78 500 (standard except the fairing and the yellow paint). It also has a Giuliari sport seat but not on this picture.

I`m thinking on the frontend he used the t-trees & forks from the GSX-R & used the the steering stem from the CX to mount & just drilled & counter sunk holes for the sportster risers & bars (way cool & beyond my skills) Hope he chimes in & gives a how too (maybe figure out how to do it to a early wing ;) )
All it takes is money & brains (which i have neither  )
