Hi All, does anyone know the colors of the penstriping for a 1981 interstate main color is black, or send me to a site that I can see it?

The Bike should be Cosmo Metallic Black with Gold Pinstrips.

Yes claywake , my GL stock factory black with gold pinstriping , its 82 , but the one option was same for 81s also .

Thanks , I am trying to get back to stock at all posable, , my bike will be a collector nect year so here in BC, we can get collector plates, there are cheaper insurence.

Did you ever find a supplier for your pinstriping. I have a 1980 Interstate with the stock burgandy candy (muse) paint and I too am looking for a supplier of NOS striping.

Sorry it looks like you are going to have to find a good pinstriper. While all of teh pinstripes are listed in the parts catalogue, I doubt if they are still available.
