If i was going to split the gas tank that is the way i would do it. hu, be fun the take the trunk on a bike and replace it with a gas tank and just pull the tank off the bike. Sounds like a interesting project now that i think about it.

I humbly Thank You Frenchy . and I did it my way . I wish I got in a site like this for ideas . But all my work I did , except for the caburation ideas I want to try . I'm a hands on custom fabrication type of fellow not to much into tech part of the running motor .
