Off the road for a bit …

#1

Post by Rat »

Had surgery on both feet yesterday … so won’t be on the bike for a month or so.

Nothing too serious, fixing hammer toes that developed due to my diabetes.

Sitting around the house bugging my wife … after a career in health care, I’m a crummy patient !!

You know the drill: Do exactly what they tell you to and you'll be back to normal (or at least what passes for normal at our age) in no time.

I guess you put your bikes away for the winter before you went in anyway so you'd probably off the road around now anyway. This is a much better time of year for recovering than when I had the shoulder surgery and was off the bikes most of the summer.
