That would be very hard to resist, you don’t find many Standards for sale and the price looks pretty good for the way the bike seems to be.

I messaged them. Asked a few questions. Will see if I get a response. I think maybe tomorrow I need to rewire the lights on my trailer just in case. I had the trailer up in the yard for refuse from the demolition of that back room and the pup got under it and destroyed the wire harness for the lights.

Has the stock grab rail and engine guards that come with it.

Starts right up from cold, has one noisy tappet till it warms up otherwise runs pretty good. I am sure the carbs could use updated but it will run up and down the road just fine. Tires are Ok for a few weeks but would need replaced before leaving town. Brake lines look to be original. Front and rear forks did not have any air in them. Front felt quite springy like maybe no fluid? No evidence of leakage so not sure. Rear shock boots need replaced. Looking inside the gas filler cap was a very nice surprise. Extremely clean tank. She is not something that I would take cross country as is but could be made that way with a few good days of work. Over all for 1500 it looks to be a solid deal.

I walked away for now. Told the guy I wanted it but I did not need it. I have to make something happen with the 2 77's in the shop now that are just sitting there. Either I sell them or strip them then throw away the junk or something. I am not going to put another bike in there without getting rid of some.

That is my sticking point right now. Maybe I will snatch the engines and stack them in a corner then wheel the frames out to the curb. The more I think about it the more I am leaning that way.

Don't think I would have been able to walk away even though I don't have room for another bike.

If I was closer, I'm sure we could work out a deal for the 2 77's.
The early wings are getting much harder to find around here.

Talked to the guy this afternoon and told him I wanted the 1200. Told him I needed a week and offered to send him some money to hold it. He told me that would not be necessary, he would give me a week.

Had to work on the Ceiling in the Laundry room all day today but tomorrow Morning after dog walks I will be rearranging the shop so I can pull engines from the 2 77's.

Hope I remember how lolol lolol lolol lolol
