greetings fellow Wingers! i,ve been in the weeds for the last couple months trying to get the heads for my 84 wing back together. first it was hell trying to find a set of cams for the ole girl which were eventuallt tracked down in Alabama. used but in good condition. then i had to have the heads gone thru and even had to have the valve guide sleeves custom made cuz you just cant get them any more. and now............drumroll please..... i need to find 4 valve lifters. i have one set of lifters (brand new) but as we know there are 2 different sets to do the heads complete. if any one can give me some direction on where to find these i would be deeply indebt. as this is the last and only part i need to get her back on the road. she looks just like Try's. the part # for these lifters is HO14621-MG9-000 i need this Wing back on the road. all i can say is i'm glad i have a BMW K75 to set my butt in for the time being or i'd have lost it by now. thanks for any help ROY

Try Dave Silver Spares in the UK. www.davidsilverspares.co.uk. He has valve guides advertised as being in stock for £6 each plus tax (17.5%) and P&P.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
If God had intended motor cycles to be standard, he would'nt have given us the hacksaw.
