A month seems VERY long to wait. If I was going to lay out the money for rubber from a shop I would only be going to a shop that had the rubber that I wanted in stock. Any shop that can do tire changing can handle taking a wheel off a bike, even if it is not the brand that the shop is attached to.

Understand for sure .. first time dealing with this sort of stuff ...alone.. I ll get it. Learning so quickly. I pick up the "wing" tomorrow .. it will be done at noon .. found other shops ..checked out two already... looks promising .. course a lot of stuff i think i can do myself..with <wink> some help <wink>...thanks all for the support.
He ( the mechanic) laughs now when i call to check progress.. which has been everyday this week. I think he now knows why i am QUEEENIE.<grin>
